So What's So Special About Manon?
Local cheesemakers Woodside Cheese
Wrights have scooped up another three trophies
for their fresh curd cheese, Manon, in just three
months. Named after the French opera by Jules
Massenet, the title comes from the five-step
process of the Manon cheese organic goat
chevre, garlic, black pepper, vine leaves and
finished with hand rolling. It had completely
sold out at CheeseFest last weekend by 2pm!
